Shipping + Delivery


Standard shipping is free for all purchases. Method of shipping is determined by the size and weight of each item within an order. Some items are eligible for small parcel shipping via FedEx or UPS. For items in stock, the lead time for small parcel shipping is 1-3 weeks. Larger items are shipped via freight and are running 2-3 weeks.


We are pleased to offer local, in-home delivery through our contracted delivery provider. Customers may request white glove, home delivery on all orders for an additional fee. MD Members receive free local*, in-home delivery for all orders over $3,000*. Installation and assembly costs are not covered.

Returns + Exchanges

All custom orders are final sale. No exchanges or refunds. Please review your item(s) upon delivery. If there is an issue with your order, contact the store where your purchase was made via phone or email within three (3) days of receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we’ll make it right.

Sale items are final sale. No exchanges or refunds.

Exchanges are limited to items sold from the sales floor.

Items that qualify for an exchange may be exchanged once. Once an item has been exchanged, that sale is final and no further returns or exchanges may be made.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in like-new condition because of misuse or damage caused by a customer. Please keep in mind that furniture is vulnerable to damage during shipping. For this reason, it's important that you please keep and use the original packaging materials for any items you wish to return.


We can accept cancellation of your order for items that have not yet been placed for order with our manufacturers or are on backorder. Once an item has been accepted by our manufacturers or boarded for shipment; cancellation is not possible. Customers may receive store credit for cancelling a custom order only and are not eligible for a refund.

Design Services

MD Members can schedule up to two in-home consultations per month. After two consultations, if the customer has yet to order and / or make a purchase, they will be placed on the client consultation waitlist. There are no limits on in-store consultations.

Can I take items home “on-approval”?

On-Approval is limited to items in stock on the sales floor. Items must be transported to and from the MD showroom at the expense of the customer. Items must be returned in the condition in which the items were taken. Items that are returned with additional wear or damage must be paid for in full. Items taken on-approval must be returned by end of day on the date specified within the release form, unless the customer receives approval in writing to extend the due date by an MD manager. Late items will be charged to the card on file (the following day) after two attempts have been made to contact the customer.

How long is my rice quote valid for?

Price quotes for custom orders are valid for 30 days. MD is authorized to adjust prices on merchandise based on cost and availability.
